This garden was causing a major headache for its retired owners. A combination of mature shrubs out growing their space, encroaching on the lawn and requiring constant attention was causing much anxiety.
Our solution was to redefine the lawn with a strong geometric shape running diagonally across the plot. This made the garden feel wider and larger. The brick edging to the lawn has created an attractive mowing strip and mowing is now an easy task.
The planting has been thinned out and replaced with more appropriate shrubs and perennials, providing excellent year round interest.
